1. Zero Media Retention Policy

InstaFetch does not host, store, or archive any media files, video clips, photos, or story archives on our servers. When you request a download, our system acts exclusively as a transient streaming proxy between your browser and Instagram's official CDN infrastructure. Media data passes through memory and is never saved to physical storage disks.

2. IP Anonymization & Ephemeral Rate Limiting

To protect our service from automated bot abuse, we implement rate limiting. To comply with GDPR and privacy best practices, we never store raw client IP addresses. All IP addresses are irreversibly hashed using SHA-256 with a daily rotating salt and stored temporarily in Cloudflare KV with an automatic 24-hour expiration.

3. No Personal Account Credentials

InstaFetch does not require registration, login, or social authentication. We will never ask for your Instagram account credentials, password, phone number, or payment details.

4. Privacy-Friendly Analytics

We employ Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor aggregate bandwidth and performance metrics. These analytics operate without storing client-side tracking cookies and do not track individuals across third-party websites.
